Day 22 - Happy Father’s Day Dad!
Since I don’t really work, I can’t afford to give you anything huge. Like the bug that you want. But I did have a little money lying around in paypal.
So I ordered you this little silk cell phone pouch from the internet. Zoozoos on one side. Mom & you on the other.
Maybe I’ll get you something bigger one day!
Day 21 - Mumbai ‘chinese’ food ♨
I have this pretty fun anecdote about chinese food. And I must write it down one of these days.
Day 20 - My lego Scala Set.
This is approximately 8 or 9 years old. This photo definitely does not do justice to it but I was too lazy/tired to use my EOS.
Day 19 - A cute little ‘vintage’ bread delivery truck.
Wibs used to be a huge player in the bread market back when Mumbai was Bombay. Then slowly larger corporations like Britannia took over. Many Wibs factories shut down & you can hardly see their bread at any shops now. So when I saw this truck at the signal, I was so happy that I got to photograph it.
Those were the days… *sigh*
Day 18 - Loads & loads of paperclips.
Last night (no wait, it was past midnight so it was technically this morning) I got all excited & charged up over the fact that I’m gonna get a new penpal. And then I remembered that it had been ages since I had actually written something on paper (barring examinations of course, where I hurriedly scribble stuff down).
So I decided to raid ye ‘ole stationery stash. And I found paperclips. Two boxes of them. So I laid them down on the floor & took this picture.
That was before three more boxes of paperclips. Damn. What am I gonna do with all these paperclips?
I know! Make a necklace!
Day 17 - Dad eating mango ❦
Dad was in a good mood today so he agreed to let me put up his photo. The only thing he told me was, “Don’t write anything stupid.”
So I’m not gonna right anything. The picture is self-explanatory.
Day 16 - A thunderstorm, in all it’s destructive beauty ☁☂
Reminds me a lot of the Thunderstorms I encountered in Kovalam (though the ones is Mumbai aren’t half as bad!)
I love thunderstorms. There’s something terrifying and beautiful about them. *shudder*
Day 15 - Zoozoo sees rain clouds ☁
I spent my Sunday at home & was wondering what I should click a picture of when Mom suggested this- our Zoozoo calendar. Zoozoo are characters from the advertising campaign of a telecom company. They look animated, but they’re not. They’re real guys in suits. But I don’t wanna tell you about all those Zoozoo facts, I just wanna tell you how much my Dad loves them. He has a zoozoo sticker at the back of his call phone & actually traded me his new BlackBerry for a zoozoo sticker set & cell phone charm that I had.
Then he found this calendar I had & promptly took it & kept it on top of our speaker on our computer table so he can look at it often.
I sometimes often wonder who really is the kid at home.
Day 14 - A different kind of tree house.
This picture is not doctored at all! And that really is a tree rising out from that hovel.
Sorry for the bad quality picture, though. I really shouldn’t use this BlackBerry cam so often.
