Day 5 - Old World Charm.
I know fully well that this looks like a rural mansion.
So would you believe me if I told you that this house is situated on Linking Road, Khar (Mumbai).
I find homes like these absolutely charming, though they are becoming very scarce. It saddens me to think one day we won’t see any more here in Mumbai.
Day 4 - Wounded Soldier.
Meet Roger (Or Vivian? I forget)
He’s my friend Angela’s- one of the naughtiest pups around.
Just two days ago he broke his leg while making some mischief.
Now he hobbles around on a cast. But it’s lovely to see that his bratty spirit hasn’t dimmed one bit.
And I’d never thought I’d say this, but he looks so cute in a cast!
Day 3 - Who wants short shorts?
It all started yesterday when I went to the mall with my friends. I saw this cute little pair of purple shorts that I fell in love with at first sight! ♥
I tried them on & they fit juuussst right. Plus, they were purple! Did I mention that I ♥ purple?
Unfortunately, I did not have enough ca$h to buy it! ☹ They were the last pair.
I went back to the mall this morning & they were waiting for me. ☺
So I bought them real quick!
Guess what? The brand name is ‘Forever 17’. Too bad I’m already 18. I feel old. *groan*
Oh & one more thing- this photo just does not do enough justice to the shorts!
Day 2 - Blue Lagoon.
No, not the movie. I’m talking about the drink available in my college canteen.
Made with 7Up, some blue syrup & crushed ice. Basically a fancy name for a slushie.
Wasn’t as super as I expected, but still enjoyable for two reasons.
First- The hot weather.
Second- I had it with good friends.
I missed them. When college starts I’ll get to see them regularly again.
But then when college starts I won’t get to be a lazy bum anymore.
Oh well, you can’t have it all!
Day 1 - Mumbai Metro : Work in Progress.
When we moved into out new home two years ago, the roads (outside it) were broad & traffic flowed freely.
And the metro construction started. And I knew roads would never look the same.
And I regretted not taking a ‘before’ picture. Now I only have an image of how the roads used to look in my head.
So now finally stopped regretting stuff I can’t change & took a work-in-progress picture.
Maybe I’ll take more as the construction progresses further.
